ม้ากับลาต่าง
มีชายพ่อค้าคนหนึ่งนำของไปขายต่างเมือง
คิดจะถนอมม้าไว้ใช้
เมื่อถึงคราวจำเป็น จึงเอาสินค้าทั้งหมดใส่หลังลา ส่วนม้า
นั้นปล่อยให้เดินตัวเปล่า
ลาถูกบรรทุกของหนัก ๆก็ล้มเจ็บลง
มันพูดกับม้าว่า"ช่วยแบ่งของไปจากหลังข้าบ้างเถิด ข้าไปไม่
ไหวแล้ว ถ้าท่านช่วยแบ่งเบาภาระไปบ้าง ข้าคงจะหายเจ็บ
กลับมีแรงขึ้นจะเอาของใส่หลังข้าดังเก่า ถ้าท่านไม่ช่วยข้าคง
ต้องตาย เป็นแน่" แต่ม้าก็ไม่ฟังเสียงขอร้อง
กลับบอกกับลาว่า
ให้ทนไปก่อนเถิด ลาก็เลยไม่พูดอะไรอีก อุส่าห์เดินต่อไป
ไม่ช้าก็หมดแรงล้มลงตาย เจ้าของก็แก้เอาสินค้าบนหลังลา
เอามาใส่หลังม้า
แถมยังเอาศพลาบรรทุกเพิ่มเข้าไปอีกด้วย
ม้าครางว่า
" พุทโธ่เอ๋ย เรานี่ช่างชั่วเสียจริงๆ ไม่เห็นใจผู้อื่น
เดี๋ยวนี้ถูกบรรทุกของหนักแล้วมิหนำยังมีศพลาเพิ่มขึ้นอีกเสียด้วย"

and the Loaded Ass

There was once a man who owned a horse
an ass.
Whenever he took trips

the horse and put all the burden

on the ass's back. Since the ass

for some time,he asked the horse one

him of part of load while on a trip.
